Location: Fully remote role with a Nashville-based company

Compensation: $18-22 per hour

Type: Part-time, 1099 Contractor

Commitment: Flexible work, 25-30 hours per month

Are you a creative thinker, a hard worker, and an eager learner who has always loved the marketing side of business? Do you geek out on content creation, email marketing, social media, and an amazing website? Then don’t take another boring marketing job! Piccolo is a unique group of experts who handle all aspects of marketing, and we are looking for a Marketing Administrator who will be responsible for content creation and implementation for a wide range of industries. 

Piccolo is an outsourced marketing firm that works with small businesses. We specialize in assessing where our clients are and where they are going, creating a strategy on how they can get there, and then executing the plan for them. Simply put, we give our clients the tools to reach unprecedented results! You will work directly with Piccolo’s management team to develop and execute each client’s marketing strategy from creating content to posting across our clients’ digital footprint.

What you will do

  • Create, design, and schedule social media content and graphics across multiple platforms
  • Draft and post blog content to WordPress and Squarespace, including image selection and basic SEO
  • Run email marketing campaigns, including developing copy and managing segmented lists and contact imports
  • Support podcast and video workflows, including uploading episodes, repurposing clips, and sending essential information to guests.
  • Regularly update tasks in our project management platform (Asana) to push information and request additional needs to get your projects completed.
  • Deliver projects on time while ensuring quality standards are met by working closely with the team to stay aligned on upcoming commitments, tracking your time, and managing your schedule effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Work with the internal team to address client needs effectively and on time
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and implement marketing efforts
  • Develop and implement clients’ digital marketing strategies
  • Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to communicate and resolve issues as needed
  • Research opportunities for improvement, evaluate new digital marketing tools and practices, and stay up-to-date with technology trends
  • Sit in on appropriate company meetings and offer insight, guidance, and solutions to help drive our businesses towards our goals
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed

What we need you to bring

  • 1–2 years of marketing experience, including content creation, social media management, and email marketing
  • A computer, phone, and reliable internet access
  • Professional image and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and team-oriented
  • Ability to bring new ideas to the position and a proven history of learning/embracing technology
  • Capable of setting and meeting assigned tasks with deadlines
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work independently, disciplined, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Experience with Asana, Flodesk, Canva, WordPress, and Later is a plus
