The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville recently announced the 2019 finalists for the Nashville Emerging Leader Awards (NELA), which recognizes Middle Tennessee’s top young professionals under the age of 40.
NELA is dedicated to building the next generation of leaders, and the professionals recognized this year have been found to possess strong leadership skills, along with a proven commitment to the continued prosperity of the Nashville community. A committee of community leaders and experts within each industry select finalists from 15 industry classifications based on their answers to essay questions, their level of professional achievement and demonstrated leadership, and their positive community impact.
Anna-Vija McClain is a proud recipient of a NELA 2019 nomination. She has been sharing her knowledge of marketing and connecting with others here in Music City for several years, and is deeply committed to the Nashville business community. She believes that the best way to succeed in business is to be involved – to have what she terms a “tribe”, a group of like-minded people that can help the entrepreneur to learn, grow, and connect – and she lives that belief by being involved and connected herself and by promoting her view through speaking, writing, and presentations shared with the Middle Tennessee business community.
